Meet Dr. Mukkara

your Frederick and Hagerstown Orthodontist

Dr. Mukkara was born in India where she received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bangalore University. After practicing as a general dentist in India for 2 years she moved to United states to pursue her dream to be an Orthodontist. In 2005 she graduated with High Honors in Doctor of Dental medicine from Boston University. Upon graduation she moved to Texas and practiced as a General dentist for 4 years. In 2009 she went back to Boston University to pursue her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics with a dual degree where she received a certificate and Doctor in Dental science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. After graduating from Boston University in 2014 she has been practicing orthodontics in various settings. Dr. Mukkara is passionate about her profession and enjoys combining the art and science of orthodontics. She provides treatment to her patients with the latest technology and advances in orthodontics while maintaining a personal and caring relationship with every adult, teen or child. 

Dr. Mukkara was a proud member of United States Army Reserves, stationed at 965th Dental Company in Seagoville, Texas.

At M&M Braces Dr. Mukkara enjoys working with patients of all ages to help improve their functional and esthetic concerns. She is focused on providing patient-centered, top-quality orthodontic care to improve the quality of patient smiles as well as patient lives.

Dr. Mukkara is married to Deepak Mukkara, and they are blessed with two beautiful girls Moksha and Mukthi.
